Celebration Brewing Co. is looking for a dedicated and energetic Line Cook*to join our back-of-house team. ## Key Responsibilities
- Set up and stock your assigned station with all necessary ingredients and prep materials before service begins.
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, prepping meats, assembling sauces) following our standardized recipes.
- Cook menu items efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper portion sizes and high-quality presentation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food comes out simultaneously and in a timely fashion.
- Answer, report to, and follow the instructions of the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation during and after your shift.
- Properly store food items, handle leftovers safely, and minimize waste by following inventory and FIFO guidelines.
- Comply with all local health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- ## Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook (experience in a pub, brewery, or high-volume casual dining setting is a major plus).
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and knife skills.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and quick-thinking during high-pressure rushes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long shifts, maneuver in a busy kitchen, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Food handler's card or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
