LINE COOK

Celebration Brewing Co. is looking for a dedicated and energetic Line Cook*to join our back-of-house team. As a key player in our kitchen, you will help us deliver high-quality, delicious food that perfectly complements our craft beer selection. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their culinary work, and is a strong team player. If you love creating great food in a dynamic, lively brewery setting, we want you on our line.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock your assigned station with all necessary ingredients and prep materials before service begins.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, prepping meats, assembling sauces) following our standardized recipes.
  • Cook menu items efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper portion sizes and high-quality presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food comes out simultaneously and in a timely fashion.
  • Answer, report to, and follow the instructions of the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation during and after your shift.
  • Properly store food items, handle leftovers safely, and minimize waste by following inventory and FIFO guidelines.
  • Comply with all local health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
  • ## Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook (experience in a pub, brewery, or high-volume casual dining setting is a major plus).
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and knife skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and quick-thinking during high-pressure rushes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long shifts, maneuver in a busy kitchen, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Food handler's card or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
