About the Role
The General Manager at a Celebration Brewing Co is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including operations, financial performance, staff management, and customer experience. The General Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to drive revenue, increase profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of brewery/brewpub operations, including food and beverage service, retail sales, events, and marketing
* Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, increase profitability, and improve customer satisfaction
* Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
* Develop and manage budgets, financial statements, and inventory management systems
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to alcohol service, food safety, and employment practices
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and community partners
* Manage and execute events, including private parties, beer releases, and community events
* Develop and maintain a culture of excellence in customer service and employee engagement
* Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation
* Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build the brewery/brewpub's reputation and increase visibility
* Update brewery's social pages
Requirements
Passion for beer & food
Minimum two years management experience in a busy brewery and/or restaurant
Strong communication skills
Ability to lead, supervise, train and motivate a team
Uphold our culture of respect as well as company values
Expertise in market promotion and social media
Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field preferred; significant experience in brewery/brewpub management may be substituted
Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience managing a diverse team of employees
Experience developing and managing budgets, financial statements, and inventory management systems
Knowledge of craft beer and brewing processes preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
